For the trip back towards Perth from Denmark we headed North, close to Mt Barker and then turned West aiming for Boyup Brook, but when the GPS told us to go up some random dirt road with no mobile service, we opted to stick to the main highway past Lake Muir (which interrestingly is not seen from the highway, despite being about 10km long). This bought us to Manjimup and then through Bridgetown to our accommodation at the tiny blip of a town that is Balingup.
